Our Silk Georgette is a 100% natural 1.47oz silk. This lightweight sheer fabric has a tight weave of pun yarn, which creates an overall gossamer appearance due to its extremely thin threads. With its tight mesh-like quality the custom made silk fabric is highly transparent and shows off its light, delicate, and fragile qualities. It is generally taught all over but has a slight amount of give on the bias. This fabric is great for making scarves, shawls, dresses, and blouses.
